We are looking for a Network Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team. In this hands on role, you’ll be responsible for managing and supporting the company’s entire IT infrastructure including networks, servers, storage systems, desktop environments, and cloud services. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring seamless operations, system security, and an exceptional technology experience for end users.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily administration, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, servers, desktops, and storage systems.
Ensure the performance, availability, and security of all IT systems to support business operations.
Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades across hardware, software, and network devices.
Monitor system health, scheduled jobs, logs, and outputs to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
Manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Maintain and optimize security tools such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, antivirus, antimalware, and endpoint protection.
Provide Tier 1 technical support to end users, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation of Help Desk tickets.
Set up, onboard, and offboard users, including account provisioning, hardware/software deployment, and access rights management.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to computers, printers, phones, software, and peripheral equipment.
Administer and support VoIP systems (RingCentral), including configuration, setup, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with stakeholders and department managers to align IT solutions with business needs.
Lead or support system upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new technologies.
Conduct training sessions and provide user support on system processes, tools, and best practices.
Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and manage software licensing and updates.
Produce documentation, manuals, and reports related to systems, processes, and infrastructure performance.
Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in on‑call support rotation and respond to after‑hours IT emergencies when needed.
Perform other IT‑related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or help desk roles.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, Windows Server and Client OS, and Active Directory.
Experience with Yardi, Finastra (ILS) Zoho or Calyx required.
Hands‑on experience managing local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), including hardware and software components.
Skills
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and best practices (firewalls, antivirus, endpoint security).
Experience working with ITSM tools and documenting support workflows.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a solution‑oriented mindset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Willingness to provide on‑call support and work flexible hours when required.
Physical ability to lift and move equipment, as needed.
