This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. You will join the New Glenn Launch Systems Analysis and Integration team, an experienced team of engineers, analysts, and system architects who provide the technical framework for designing and operating the New Glenn launch vehicle. In this role, you will lead the team’s impact on all aspects of in-flight telemetry planning, including vehicle and marine telemetry configurations. You will develop telemetry requirements and provide mission specific telemetry plans that meet those requirements. You will contribute significantly to the team’s development of tools for managing flight data planning, and interfaces to other design and operations tools that tightly couple with mission planning. You will apply the appropriate regulatory compliance, change control, and safe practices as a foundation to your responsibilities. B.S. in engineering or a related technical field 5+ years of aerospace industry experience System development/integration experience, preferably within the aerospace industry Extensive experience using complex data systems and tools Experience with data management Strong understanding of complex systems engineering principles and methodologies Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Preferred Qualifications

M.S. in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or related technical field Understanding of telemetry mission planning, ex. communications intervals, key interfaces between vehicle and external comms systems Experience with integration of RF communication systems Strong understanding of basic network protocols and familiarity with OSI model Understanding of data packet structure Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Testing Strong understanding of basic digital signal processing for high sampling sensors Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence) Experience with requirements definition and management, preferably using DOORS Next Generation Experience with configuration and product data management tools, preferably Windchill Familiarity with version control, preferably Git Compensation Range: CO applicants is $107,707.00-$150,789.45; WA applicants is $117,498.00-$164,497.20 Benefits
