SUMMARY:
Seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our dynamic team. This role will support our engineering and construction management projects by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and calibrating a variety of instrumentation systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
Install, test, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems used in engineering and construction projects
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of instrumentation
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure accurate integration of instrumentation systems into projects
Document work performed and maintain accurate records of equipment calibrations, inspections, and repairs
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Experience and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical or associate degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field preferred)
3+ years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician in engineering, construction or industrial settings
Proficiency with instrumentation calibration tools and test equipment
Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs and wiring diagrams
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
