They have roughly 150 employees and operate in the Pharmaceutical, Higher Education, Semiconductor, and Food/Beverage industries. About the Role: The Instrumentation Technician will support clients by installing, calibrating, and maintaining instrumentation and control equipment across a variety of projects. This role requires a hands-on problem-solver with strong technical skills in instrumentation, process controls, and electrical systems. The Technician will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, compliance with industry standards, and safe operations within regulated environments. Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience working with instrumentation and controls in industrial, manufacturing, or regulated environments. Strong knowledge of instrumentation calibration, troubleshooting, and loop-checking. Familiarity with PLC/DCS systems Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control schematics. Understanding of safety protocols, GMP, and industry standards. Willingness to travel to client sites as required. Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, and maintain field instrumentation including transmitters, sensors, control valves, and analyzers. Perform loop checks, signal verifications, and system troubleshooting. Assist with commissioning and startup of new instrumentation and control systems. Document calibration records, maintenance activities, and compliance reports. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to support automation and control system projects. Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Provide client support and service with professionalism and technical expertise. Seniority level
