Responsibilities
Use standard hand-measuring instruments (i.e. micrometer, bore gauge, calipers, height gauge, etc.) Verify parts by carrying out dimensional, functional, data review and visual inspections Support CMM machine/ programming with software using CAD models and/or engineering drawings Executes and assures compliance with quality procedures, practices and inspection processes Interacts with Quality, GSC, manufacturing and Test team members to determine root cause of quality issues and ensures that corrective and preventive action is implemented Evaluates hardware, performs laboratory procedures, inspects products, measures process performance, records data Prepares and reads inspection control plans, interpreting specifications, drawings, BOM, standards and tolerances in a GD&T environment Supports and conducts measurement systems analysis with the use of gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R) studies Supports 5s and housekeeping Essential Skills

Post-secondary education in engineering or similar.
