CMM Programmer

Join a leading manufacturing organization in Devens, MA dedicated to precision engineering and high-quality production standards. We are currently seeking an experienced CMM Programmer with deep expertise in Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software to support our quality inspection and metrology efforts. This role plays a key part in ensuring dimensional accuracy and quality compliance across the production lifecycle through precise inspection programming and execution.

You Will Be Responsible For

Creating, modifying, and optimizing CMM programs using Calypso software for routine and complex inspections

Performing dimensional inspections of precision parts and assemblies using Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines

Analyzing engineering drawings and applying GD&T to ensure inspection accuracy and compliance

Supporting first article inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final inspections

Troubleshooting and resolving measurement discrepancies or software issues

Documenting results, generating inspection reports, and supporting non-conformance investigations

Collaborating closely with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement in dimensional control

Ensuring proper calibration, maintenance, and functionality of CMM and related metrology equipment

You Will Bring The Following

Proven experience programming Zeiss CMMs with Calypso software

Strong knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprints

Experience in a precision manufacturing environment (e.g. aerospace, medical device, automotive)

Familiarity with quality systems, inspection procedures, and ISO or AS9100 standards

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
