We’re responsible for helping our Product team conceive, build, and implement various features and initiatives across DoorDash’s website and mobile apps. We also own transactional messaging and ensure a consistent taxonomy of language aligned to our UX content standards and brand guidelines. About The Role

Lead the content design and user experience for New Verticals products and features, contributing to overall strategy, planning, product vision, and frameworks. Embed technical depth in your approach, demonstrating fluency in AI, automation, and model ops, and how they impact content systems. Apply systems thinking — building scalable patterns, frameworks, and parity across geographies. Bring new perspectives on innovation, exploring what human-centered content looks like in an AI-first world. Partner cross-functionally with product design, product management, research, analytics, engineering, and marketing to align language with business goals and user needs. Establish and evangelize content standards and guidelines as we scale our best practices. Collaborate with a close-knit content design team that supports each other across products. Have 5+ years of experience in content design or closely related fields Bring a portfolio of end-to-end projects showing holistic design and cohesive storytelling Think at a systems level, translating complexity into simple, intuitive experiences Understand technical constraints and opportunities in AI/automation and how they impact product content Demonstrate strong storytelling and influence with cross-functional partners Are curious about emerging technologies and their impact on user experience and content design Notice to Applicants for Jobs Located in NYC or Remote Jobs Associated With Office in NYC Only We use Covey as part of our hiring and/or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT in NYC. The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked, and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. The national base pay ranges for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado: I4 $124,400—$183,000 USD; I5 $148,200—$218,000 USD; I6 $176,800—$260,000 USD. About DoorDash
