A law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of plaintiff litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury and property damage litigation, including handling caseloads from inception through trial or resolution. This role requires significant experience in written and electronic discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. A commitment to exceptional client service and a proactive approach to business development are essential.Duties:Manage a diverse caseload involving personal injury and property damage litigation from inception through trial or settlement.Conduct comprehensive case-related research into applicable laws and regulations.Draft, file, and argue motions, responses, and other legal documents in state and federal courts.Handle discovery matters, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and motions.Take and defend depositions, prepare pleadings and letters, and represent clients in court hearings and trials.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and draft and interpret contracts and legal documents.Investigate case facts and develop case strategies to support litigation efforts.Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Participate in business development activities to enhance the firm's client base and reputation.Requirements:2+ years of experience in plaintiff litigation, particularly in personal injury and property damage cases.Proven expertise in written and electronic discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.Strong commitment to providing exceptional client service and engaging in business development.Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously and effectively handle litigation matters.Experience with drafting and filing motions, responses, and other legal documents in state and federal courts.Proficiency in handling discovery requests, responses, and motions.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida in accordance with the Florida Bar Association.Skills:Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.Strong oral communication and courtroom presentation abilities.Ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Proficient in case management and legal research tools.Capability to handle complex litigation matters and multiple cases simultaneously.Commitment to client service and business development.Benefits Offered:Comprehensive medical insurance, fully paid by the employer.Dental and vision insurance.Short-term disability and life insurance.Paid time off and paid holidays.Referral program.Positive, fun, and enthusiastic work culture in a state-of-the-art office environment.
