The Industrial Electrical Controls Technician installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical control systems, automation equipment, and industrial machinery. This role requires expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor controls, instrumentation, and industrial networks to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. Description:

Location: Bladenboro, NC Elizabethtown, NC Clinton, NC Tar Heel, NC Day to day responsibilities: Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical control systems, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and related devices. Troubleshoot and repair automation and control issues in manufacturing and industrial environments. Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and control diagrams. Program, modify, and test PLCs, VFDs, and motion control systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on control systems to minimize downtime. Integrate new machinery and automation systems into existing plant infrastructure. Maintain and update control documentation, wiring diagrams, and software backups. Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and safety policies. Collaborate with engineers, maintenance teams, and production staff to improve system performance. Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation and troubleshooting. Requirements: Technical skills to read and understand blueprints and diagrams, and install or service electrical systems. Physical fitness and dexterity for working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and handling equipment. Knowledge of National Electrical Code. Attention to detail, independence, reliability, positivity, diligence, and flexibility. Valid Driver's License. Background and drug screening clearance. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, including electromechanical equipment. Qualifications & Perks: Paid vacation and holidays. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
