Work Schedule This is a primarily on-site position based in Mount Laurel, NJ. After 90 days, employees are eligible for one remote workday per week.
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Personal Injury Paralegal
to join a busy legal team handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support, case management, and client communication. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, including providing updates on treatment and case status.
Request, review, and organize medical records, bills, and related documentation (including Medicare, Medicaid, VA, Workers’ Comp., and PIP ledgers).
Summarize medical records and prepare billing summaries for demand packages.
Draft and compile settlement demand letters to insurance adjusters.
Prepare and e-file various pleadings, including complaints, motions, arbitration statements, and conference memoranda.
Draft and respond to discovery (interrogatories, requests for production, and admissions).
Manage discovery materials, organize case files, and track litigation deadlines.
Schedule depositions, arbitrations, and medical/expert examinations.
Assist with trial preparation, settlement documentation, and distribution statements.
Qualifications
Minimum of
2 years of experience
as a Personal Injury Paralegal (plaintiff-side experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of
New Jersey e-filing procedures
and document preparation.
Proficiency in
MS Word, Outlook , and document management platforms (e.g., FileVine or similar).
Experience handling
medical records, billing, and terminology .
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual in Spanish
is a plus.
