$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr A private investment firm in Century City is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a wide range of accounting functions, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax support, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly billing and invoicing processes. Ensure all payments are properly reviewed and approved. Maintain and reconcile multiple bank and credit card accounts. Oversee general ledger maintenance and organization of financial records. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports. Support project budgets, audits, and internal/external reporting. Coordinate with internal teams and external CPA firms. Reconcile vendor and subcontractor accounts and resolve discrepancies. Generate deposit, cash flow, and management reports. Assist with annual tax filings and audit preparation. Maintain updated records for banking and investment accounts. Review and analyze financial documents such as P&L statements, balance sheets, and loan schedules. Support compliance, payroll, and various tax filings. Collaborate with project managers and external partners on financial matters. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Accounting certification (CPA, QuickBooks Certified, or similar) a plus. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel. Strong data entry, reconciliation, and reporting skills. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. Solid understanding of GAAP and general tax preparation. Experience with real estate or investment-related accounting is a plus.
