Overview

Position: Head of Finance Americas Department: Finance Americas Reports to: Regional President Americas Purpose of position Responsible for accounting and the Finance department of Envirotainer Americas. Your primary mandate is to lead the Finance function for the Americas and act as a strategic partner to the President, Americas as part of the US management team. You own regional P&L performance and oversee the full financial spectrum, including business control, pricing, financial reporting under IFRS, tax and treasury. You manage a team of two to four, set clear standards for accuracy and timeliness, and develop people through coaching that reflects our core values of trustworthiness, passion, agility and team spirit. You will have a dotted reporting line to the Group CFO and will cooperate a lot with the Group Business Control Team. Your focus is to deliver a reliable monthly close and group reporting cadence with clear variance analysis, ensure books and records comply with applicable accounting standards and internal controls, and build scalable processes supported by systems and Power BI. You coordinate corporate tax compliance across the region, lead the work for group reporting, and ensure filings and payments are completed on time for corporate income tax, withholding taxes and indirect taxes where applicable. You manage local external advisors to secure quality and value, strengthen cash visibility and working capital through sound treasury practices, and provide forecasting, scenario analysis and pricing governance that translate data into strategic insight. Your leadership and results are essential to regional performance and the future success of the company. Responsibilities

Functional responsibilities Act as the finance lead and strategic partner to the President, Americas, contributing to regional strategy and execution. Drive regional P&L performance. Monitor results, identify drivers and risks, and recommend corrective actions. Lead regional finance, including supporting pricing governance, deal support, margin analysis and customer profitability. Lead forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning. Provide high-quality commentary and scenario analysis to guide decisions Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, HR and IT to support regional priorities and performance improvement. Take overall responsibility for Financial external reporting on regional level for the operating Americas entities. Develop and maintain the internal control framework for accounting in the Americas Region. Oversee financial reporting in IFRS. Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance with group policies and controls. Manage corporate tax matters in the region in partnership with group tax. Coordinate filings, transfer pricing inputs and effective tax rate monitoring. Oversee treasury activities for the region, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity, banking relationships and working capital. Build and improve finance processes and controls that scale with growth. Drive change management to embed new ways of working. Cooperate with group to structure data and reporting through systems and BI tools (Power BI). Develop dashboards and KPIs that translate data into insight. Manage local external advisors (audit, tax, legal, payroll) and ensure value for money and quality of service. Oversee all credit notes for all lines of business for US customers. Ensure all billing discrepancies are handled in a timely manner. Create governance for pricing and set pricing levels for the pricing team, while monitoring GM/ EBITDA impact. Develop and coach a high-performing finance team. Set clear objectives and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Authority

Final check of invoices in Medius and ensure vendor invoice approvals are compliant to Authority and Approval Group directive. Represent and lead the department Finance Americas Issue payments according to the financial policy. Main contact person to Auditors for the Americas legal entities’ accounting. Demands on the position

Professional capabilities 10 or more years of progressive finance experience with a strong accounting foundation. MBA in Finance (or equivalent advanced degree). Proven experience in Business controlling and pricing within an international business. Hands-on experience with financial reporting under IFRS and/or US GAAP. Practical knowledge of corporate taxation and treasury in a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction environment. Demonstrated change management and process development achievements, ideally in a scaling or transforming organisation. Strong data and systems orientation. Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI) and ERPs; advanced Excel and financial modelling. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to distil complex analysis into clear recommendations. People leadership experience, including building and managing teams (2 to 4 direct reports). Interpersonal skills
