Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconcile accounts monthly.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare journal entries, asset register, and depreciation schedules.
Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash transactions.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Assist in tax preparation and filing (e.g., VAT, income tax).
Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of experience in general accounting or similar role.
Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
