Overview POSITION SUMMARY:

Accept donations on behalf of Goodwill at our standalone or storefront donation centers. Provide excellent customer service to donors.

Responsibilities Essential Functions:

Open and close assigned donation center sites according to schedule and guidelines outlined in the Standalone and Storefront Donation Center Attendant Training Manual.

Accept donations following the guidelines in the manual, greeting donors, assisting with donations, completing receipts accurately, and politely referring donors to other locations when necessary.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the site, including sweeping, storing donations neatly, and managing debris and trash. If applicable, empty and clean the Unattended Donation Center (UDC).

Complete daily administrative tasks promptly, including counting donors, sorting and submitting receipts, and maintaining tally sheets.

Safeguard donations and company property from damage and theft, treating all with respect and care.

Communicate needs, safety concerns, and unusual situations to supervisors or coordinators promptly and accurately.

Load donations into bins safely and organize them inside trailers.

Assist truck helpers and drivers with loading donations into trucks, if needed.

Coordinate with Dispatch regarding product volumes and transportation needs.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Skills & Abilities:

High School diploma or GED preferred.

Six months to one year of customer service experience preferred.
