Accept donations on behalf of Goodwill at our donation centers, providing excellent customer service to donors. Essential Functions
Open and close assigned donation sites according to department guidelines. Accept donations following established guidelines, greet donors, assist with donations, complete receipts, and thank donors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site interior and exterior. Complete daily administrative tasks, including counts, receipts, and tally sheets. Safeguard donations and property from damage and theft, treating all with respect. Communicate supply needs, safety concerns, and unusual situations to supervisors promptly. Safely load donations into bins and organize inside trailers. Assist truck helpers and drivers with loading donations if needed. Coordinate with Dispatch regarding product volumes and transportation needs. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Handle customer service issues effectively or refer to management, notifying them immediately if needed. Assign tasks to on-site attendants and guide them in the absence of a supervisor. Train donation attendants and perform bag checks. Skills & Abilities
Education:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience:
6 months to 1 year customer service experience preferred; 1 year supervisory experience preferred. Additional Details
