12 Month Job Description
The purpose of the position is to create in-person and online training content to support organizational initiatives and business units. The role requires strong instructional design and technical knowledge, as well as strong content development and writing skills. The ability to create resources to support employee learning, such as tips, job aids, and templates, is essential. The candidate will research, facilitate and support live virtual meetings and events, and demonstrate strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills. The person must be professional, available during work hours, responsive, timely, and attentive to detail to meet deliverable timelines. The client prefers experience with the following tools: SharePoint page administration, Adobe Articulate (Storyline and Rise) & Camtasia, MS Teams. Candidates with experience developing curriculums or training in partnership with subject matter experts are preferred. Creating training videos and microlearning is a plus. Use of voiceover tools is a plus. An interest in continually learning new software and keeping the team updated on changes is desired. This position works with: Associate Director of Organizational Development, Training and Support Specialists, Learning and Development Consultant, Organizational Development Consultant, and an Administrative Support Specialist. Responsibilities

Experience in curriculum design and developing training materials for adult learners (Required, 3+ years). Strong content development skills (Required, 3+ years). Instructional design and technical knowledge (Required, 5+ years). Understanding of the NC Medicaid Program and its impact on county, regional, and state staff (Nice to have, 3+ years). Adobe Articulate 360 (Required, 3+ years). Experience with adult learning practices in classroom and online settings (Required, 3+ years). Ability to support live virtual meetings and events with strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills (Required, 3+ years). Preferred tools include Adobe Articulate, Camtasia, MS Teams, and Microsoft products; familiarity with Webex (Required, 3+ years).
