The Beverage Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and operational effectiveness of bars, lounges, convention bars, and other beverage related outlets during each shift.
Responsibilities Where You'll Make an Impact:
Develops accurate and aggressive long and short range financial objectives relating to beverage service, distribution and sales for Beverage Department
Develops and manages beverage and sales
Manages programs and processes to control and reduce lost time injuries
Manages and schedules staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels employment and ensure service is at the optimum level to enhance the gaming experience of guests to Live! Casino and Hotel.
Manages sales, marketing and promotion programs & communication for the Food & Beverage Department. Interacts as the liaison between F&B and Marketing, Promotions and Public Relations.
Implements local sales promotion programs and develops and implements local sales promotions in the lounges and bars
Manages department’s financial data. Maintain effective cost and portion controls in the beverage department.
Reviews beverage processes, activities and inventory control status with the Director of Beverage.
Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule.
Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Must-Haves:
Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Four (4) year degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Experience: Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of management experience in Food & Beverage, Hospitality and/or related experience.
You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and ability to sit for long periods of time.
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
Ability to regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.
