This is a contract position working in the Dougherty County (Albany, GA) schools, 5-10 hours per week during the school year. Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Conduct initial/ongoing assessments to meet the needs of the person served Maintain open communication with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals regarding the individual’s progress Provide a tentative schedule of appointments, home visits, and observations for the week/month to keep communication open about work progress Conduct home visits for observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, data analysis, and to ensure effective implementation of the program plan Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and other relevant meetings to ensure ongoing communication about the individual’s progress Complete monthly/quarterly progress notes and attend scheduled meetings to discuss progress Conduct training and in-service training as needed to ensure staff competence in implementing the program plan and documentation Provide follow-up visits and observations for continued support of the individual’s needs Be adaptable to changing policies, procedures, and individual needs to support the individual effectively Maintain effective record-keeping (monthly/quarterly notes, training records, contact info, program plans) for easy access by stakeholders Act as a liaison with the public and mental health community to support individual development goals Assist in developing training materials and procedures to enhance programs and ensure compliance with guidelines Engage in continuing education on behavior interventions to stay current in the field Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient functioning of the work unit About our Line of Business

Minimum Qualifications Education/Training Board Certified Behavior Analyst (certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board) or BCaBA. Experience Experience in applied behavior principles, including plan implementation, data collection, behavior interventions/replacement behaviors, and risk management At least two years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities Completion of 10 hours of annual continuing education related to behavior supports through courses, seminars, conferences, or training by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities
