Job Description
Data Analysis & Modeling : Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and prepare data for predictive modeling and other machine learning projects. 5+ years experience.
Guidewire Expertise : Leverage deep knowledge of Guidewire data models (PC, BC, CC) to understand data origins, perform data mapping, and integrate data with other systems. 4+ years experience.
Technical Skills : Utilize expert SQL skills to write and optimize queries for extracting, transforming, and loading data. Experience with tools like DBT is a plus. 2+ years experience.
Collaboration : Work with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Data Warehouse teams to align on data needs and provide solutions. 2+ years experience.
Data Quality : Evaluate and improve internal systems for data issues and inaccuracies, developing protocols for data handling, processing, and cleaning. 2+ years experience.
Insight Communication : Clearly communicate insights derived from data to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years experience with Guidewire data models (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter). Essential.
2+ years experience with SQL: strong ability to write and optimize queries for data extraction and transformation.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.
Deep experience in the insurance domain, especially property and casualty (P&C).
Expert skills in data profiling and basic statistical analysis.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, customers, and business analysts.
Nice to Have
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of machine learning techniques (NLP, etc.).
Experience with DBT.
