Lead Fire Alarm Technician — Western States Fire Protection
Western States Fire Protection (WSFP) is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician. The candidate should have a strong work ethic, integrity, and the ability to problem solve. The role involves handling all aspects of a project from install to programming, with strong troubleshooting and service skills. The salary range is $35-$40 per hour depending on experience. Job Responsibilities
Site verifications of fire alarm installations Analysis of blueprints Coordination with other disciplines, engineers, general contractors and end users Interact with clients, field personnel and Fire Marshals Installation of fire alarm equipment Job Qualifications
NICET I certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year OSHA 30 is a plus Manufacturers certificates are preferred 5 years of service or install experience preferred Solid knowledge of NFPA 72, Factory Mutual and applicable codes (mandatory) Ability to work independently and in a team/training environment Knowledge of programming and troubleshooting multiple fire alarm panel manufacturers High school diploma or equivalent Understanding of expenses and schedules Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the state Willingness to pass post-offer drug test, background and reference check Physical Requirements
