Responsibilities
An affiliate faculty member's duties include, but are not limited to: teaching assigned classes in person or online, delivering course content, preparing course materials and lesson plans, grading student work, providing timely and constructive feedback, addressing student questions in accordance with university policies, maintaining office hours, and complying with university evaluation and peer observation policies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial design or related field Minimum of 2 years of related industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial design Minimum of 4 years of relevant industrial design experience
Terms of Employment
Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis for specific classes, usually semester-by-semester. They are not eligible for university benefits, and assignments depend on budget and enrollment. Qualified candidates will be expected to teach in person/on campus upon hire.
Salary for Announcement
The final salary is based on the number of credit hours assigned, at a rate determined by university policy. More information can be found at:
