Partnering with GRC allows ranchers to generate revenue through our carbon credit program, while also improving soil health, biodiversity, and combating climate change by sequestering atmospheric CO2 into the soil. We have partnered with over 125 producers across 1.3 million acres in 19 states, promoting practices that restore grasslands and enhance soil health. Our mission is to convert degraded grasslands into healthy ecosystems that sequester carbon, with partnerships including organizations like Audubon Conservation Ranching, Texas Agricultural Land Trust, and Colorado State University. We have secured contracts with major companies such as Microsoft, Nestlé, Olipop, Marathon Oil, Shopify, and Urban Villages to support their sustainability goals. About the Role:

As a

Rancher Sales Account Executive

covering Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida, you will identify potential ranchers for GRC's carbon storage program, communicate our value proposition, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing relationships with ranchers, supported by our team. Your goal is to build strong relationships with ranchers interested in regenerative grazing practices and to sell soil carbon storage programs to meet demand from corporate buyers. Responsibilities:

Rancher Prospecting: Work with operations and finance teams to identify suitable ranches for GRC's programs and evaluate their potential. Rancher Outreach and Marketing: Develop outreach strategies, promote GRC at events, and collaborate with marketing to attract ranchers. Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships, serve as a primary contact for ranchers. Contracting and Transition Support: Manage contracts and ensure smooth onboarding to the operations team. Event Participation and Lead Generation: Attend and organize events, collaborate to generate leads. Process Improvement: Identify ways to improve engagement and efficiency, explore innovative value-added services. Requirements:

Experience and Knowledge:

Experience engaging with landowners, ranchers, or farmers Proven success in closing deals and addressing concerns Basic understanding of regenerative grazing benefits Contract negotiation skills Experience with CRM systems Skills:

Clear communication to individuals and groups Adaptability in dynamic environments Interest in soil science and ecology Education:

Bachelor’s or higher in Range Management, Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field Additional Experience:

Soil carbon projects or ecosystem services experience a plus Travel and Field Work:
