About ECU Health ECU Health Medical Center is one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina. With 974 beds, it serves as the flagship hospital for ECU Health and the primary teaching hospital for The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. The center has achieved Magnet designation twice and provides acute, intermediate, rehabilitation, and outpatient services to a 29‑county region home to more than 1.4 million people.

Position Summary The Emergency Services Program Manager oversees the strategic planning, development, and implementation of emergency services programs. The role coordinates with multiple departments to deliver high‑quality emergency care, optimize operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. The Program Manager leads initiatives to improve patient outcomes, enhance service delivery, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, developing policies and procedures, and collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to achieve organizational goals.

Minimum Requirements

Associate degree required.

3 or more years of experience in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a Business field of study.

Project Management Experience.

Emergency Services experience.

Other Information Postion: 1.0 FTE – 40 hour shifts / week
