We are looking for a dynamic individual with an environmental science, biology, hydrology, chemistry, or other physical or life science background to conduct field assignments related to contaminated site characterization, monitoring, and remediation, and office work, such as the preparation of planning and reporting documents.
Base Pay Range $77,420.00/yr - $119,471.00/yr
Responsibilities
Conduct onsite sampling of groundwater, soil, sediment, surface water, and air for environmental contaminants.
Collect and record environmental data and oversee monitoring well installations.
Prepare field reports, tabulate data, and develop work plans.
Travel periodically and work flexible hours (primarily Monday through Friday).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical/Environmental Sciences or a similarly related field.
Ability to pass background checks by various Federal Agencies to obtain security access badges.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, able to drive a company vehicle.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint Online.
Adept at explaining technical aspects of fieldwork to internal and external clients verbally and in writing.
Five to seven years of relevant professional experience (or an advanced degree such as an MS).
Eight or more years of experience, advanced degree, or Qualified Environmental Professional registration for Level - Senior.
