Base pay range
$89,572.00/yr - $139,351.00/yr
The position requires a dynamic individual with a geology background, the ability to work flexible hours (but primarily Monday through Friday), and a willingness to travel periodically. The position will be extremely active and will include a variety of field assignments related to contaminated site characterization, monitoring, and remediation, and office work, such as preparation of planning and reporting documents. Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations is required for higher-level position grades. The overall position requires an individual who is looking to advance their career and would like to be involved with a diversity of assignments including, but not limited to, sampling groundwater, soil, sediment, surface water, and air for environmental contaminants; gathering and recording environmental data; oversight of groundwater monitoring well installation; classifying soils; use of global positioning systems; tabulating data; and preparing work plans and field reports.
This salary range for this position is $89,572-$139,351/year; please note this is a tiered position.

The ideal candidate will reside in Alaska; however, this could be a telecommute position in the Pacific Northwest region, including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and northern California.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or geological sciences
Ability to pass background checks by various Federal Agencies (e.g., DoD, DHS, FAA, etc.) to obtain security access badges
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, able to drive a company vehicle
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint Online
Adept at explaining technical aspects of fieldwork to internal and external clients verbally and in writing
Level - III
Five (5) to Seven (7) years of relevant professional working experience, specialized training, and/or an advanced degree, such as an MS, may be substituted for work experience
Level - Senior
Eight (8) or more years of relevant professional working experience, specialized training, and/or an advanced degree, such as an MS, may be substituted for work experience
