Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

for our

San Antonio, Texas

office. As part of our design and process teams, you will work on water and wastewater projects, including drinking water/wastewater/reuse treatment facility upgrades, conveyance systems, wellfields, stormwater management, water resources, and asset management. Why Hazen and Sawyer

Participation in the evaluation, planning, and design of water, wastewater, reuse, and infrastructure projects Participation in a project team from the initial study and conceptual design stages through to the construction of major water related infrastructure projects Fieldwork and site visits from design through construction may be required Other responsibilities may include:

Client development and management supported by our local offices Planning, organizing, and supervising staff of engineers on projects

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering PE license (or obtain within 6 months of employment) 5-12 years of experience in planning and design of water-related projects Strong interest in the water/wastewater industry Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience related to preparing conceptual/feasibility studies, development of construction drawings and specifications, bidding assistance, and support of office and field-related construction services Familiarity with engineering and construction management software Capable of supervising staff and managing small projects Preferred Qualifications

M.S. in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering Proficiency in GIS, CAD/BIM, BioWin, Power BI, and databases What We Offer
