Overview

Part-Time Security Associate reports directly to the Security Manager, Blank Family of Businesses. Responsible for supporting daily operations for designated corporate components. Required Shifts: Fri, Sat and Sunday 2 PM - 10 PM. Responsibilities

Follow Security policies and procedures (SOP). Patrol AMB Family Office and 1080 properties; investigate unusual occurrences; write incident reports on actual or potential loss of company, employee, or visitor property through fire, theft, or vandalism. Respond to emergency situations of various types, including physical intervention, restraint of unruly persons, first aid, CPR/AED, and use of specialized equipment. Question or detain suspicious individuals or criminal violators on AMB property as needed. Monitor AMB Command Center and residential properties to screen and control access to AMB Properties. Communicate independently with hierarchy including CEO, Directors, Associates, Visitors, and Vendors. Escort employees, staff, visitors, and tenants to parking facilities as requested. Backfill Security reception when needed. Follow complex directions and regularly monitor security cameras for suspicious activity. Serve as back-up vehicle driver when necessary. Qualifications and Education

High school diploma or GED. Ability to review and complete required incident reports and perform record-keeping activities. Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s permit or license, and have a responsible driving record. Minimum of two years security/military experience preferred. Analytical skills to inspect property, ensure security of employees, tenants, and visitors, and prepare non-complex incident reports. Commitment to ethical and legal standards, including compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and directives related to illegal substances and alcohol abuse. Required Skills

Professionalism; excellent oral and written communication; independent thinking; decisive decision making. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to lift up to 40 lbs; strong judgment and objectivity. Self-control; excellent reporting and analytical skills; ability to retain objectivity and maintain composure during intense events. Personal computer literacy including Microsoft Office; strong analytical thinking; ability to make confident decisions. Ability to lift forty pounds with ease and meet established physical fitness standards. Conditions of Employment

Must be available for assignment for a minimum of 16 hours per week. Weekdays and weekends; all hours; holidays.
