AMB Family Office
is the support company for the Chairman and the Chairman’s family as well as the investment management and support services arm of Arthur Blank’s for-profit businesses. Position Summary The Part-Time Security Associate reports directly to the Security Manager, Blank Family of Businesses, and is responsible for supporting daily operations for designated corporate components. Required Shifts: Fri, Sat and Sunday 2 PM - 10 PM. Responsibilities
Able to follow Security policies and procedures (SOP). Patrol AMB Family Office and 1080 properties as assigned to ensure safety; investigate unusual occurrences and write incident reports on actual or potential loss of company, employee, or visitor property due to fire, theft, or vandalism. Respond to emergency situations of various types, including physical intervention, restraint of unruly persons, first aid, CPR/AED, and use of specialized equipment as needed. Question or detain suspicious individuals or criminal violators on AMB property as appropriate. Staff the AMB Command Center and residential property to screen and control access to AMB Properties. Communicate independently with the hierarchy of CEO, Directors, Associates, Visitors, and Vendors. Escort employees, staff, visitors, and tenants to parking facilities as requested. Backfill security reception when needed. Follow complex directions and regularly monitor security cameras for suspicious activity. Serve as a back-up vehicle driver when necessary. Qualifications And Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED. Able to review and complete required incident reports and perform various recordkeeping activities. Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and have a responsible driving record. A minimum of two years of security/military experience preferred. Analytical skills to inspect AMB property, ensure security of all AMB employees, tenants, and visitors, and prepare non-complex incident reports. Must maintain the highest level of ethical and legal standards, including compliance with all applicable laws, Company Policy, Procedures and Departmental Directives, particularly regarding illegal substances and alcohol. Required Skills
Professionalism and excellent oral and written communication skills. Independent thinker with decisive judgment and sound decision-making. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Excellent judgment, objectivity, self-control, and reporting skills. Strong analytical thinking, attention to factual accuracy, and ability to maintain composure during intense events. Conditions of Employment
Must be available for assignment for a minimum of 16 hours per week. Must be available for assignment on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required. Location: Atlanta, GA
