Housekeeping Manager
to oversee housekeeping operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury are maintained throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a luxury 5‑star hospitality environment, with operational experience preferred. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a housekeeping management role within a luxury 5‑star hotel environment. Strong operational experience preferred, with a demonstrated understanding of housekeeping procedures and best practices. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, staff, and management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of housekeeping management software systems is desirable. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the housekeeping department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain and uphold the standards of cleanliness and presentation expected of a luxury 5‑star hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house areas. Train, motivate, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional performance and adherence to hotel policies and procedures. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify any maintenance or cleanliness issues and take corrective action as necessary. Coordinate with other departments, such as front office and engineering, to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient resolution of any issues. Manage inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels while controlling costs. Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and hygiene regulations and protocols to provide a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff. Prepare and analyze housekeeping reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by providing leadership, guidance, and support to housekeeping team members. Benefits
