We currently have four high schools in New Orleans and one in Baton Rouge, and we are hiring math teachers in both cities. Teachers must be committed to creating a classroom culture where 100% of students are engaged in rigorous lessons aligned to the college-ready standard. Our Approach to Math:
Our Math team at CA is teacher-led, with high retention year over year. Our curriculum is developed through collaboration, research, and ongoing innovation to meet student needs. Courses include Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Calculus, A.P. Calculus, and A.P. Statistics, with targeted interventions for Algebra I and Geometry. Teacher Development:
At CA, teachers grow continuously through individual coaching, professional development, and collaboration. New teachers benefit from the CA Teacher Residency program, which provides intensive pre-service training and coaching. About Collegiate Academies:
Founded in 2008, Collegiate Academies serves over 3,000 students across five high schools and two postsecondary programs, focusing on students with diverse needs and backgrounds. Role and Responsibilities:
Engage students with passion and high standards to prepare them for college success. Build relationships and support positive behavioral and academic growth. Implement Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions within RTI framework. Participate actively in team meetings and school-wide initiatives. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with similar student backgrounds. Benefits:
