Account Executive role at Topkey. We’re looking for an experienced and strategic full cycle Account Executive to drive our sales efforts by prospecting, engaging with potential customers, and closing deals. In this role, you’ll work closely with our CEO, Head of Demand Generation, and our current Account Executive to prospect and close deals. As our second sales hire, you'll have the opportunity to shape the growth of our sales team from zero to one and beyond. Base pay range:

$150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Role Overview

As an early Account Executive at Topkey, you'll work closely with the executive team to shape our sales strategy and drive growth. You’ll create and refine sales processes from scratch and hunt down potential customers in vacation rental management, property management, and hospitality industries. You’ll engage with prospects, qualify leads, uncover needs, confirm budgets, identify decision-makers, and manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals. You’ll collaborate with sales and product teams to provide field feedback for the product roadmap and feature prioritization. You will maintain records of activities, be metrics-driven, and contribute to overall team success. You’ll also mentor potential junior sales team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture. Responsibilities

Create and refine sales processes from scratch and shape our sales strategy. Prospect and build lists of potential customers in vacation rental management, property management, and hospitality. Engage with prospects, qualify leads, uncover needs and pain points, verify buying intent, confirm budgets, and identify decision-makers. Generate leads, initiate contact, screen leads, conduct introductory meetings, and progressively take on more responsibilities to manage the full sales cycle and close deals. Collaborate with sales and product teams to share field insights and influence the product roadmap. Maintain activity records, be metrics-driven, and contribute to team success; mentor potential junior sales members. Own your role with an entrepreneurial mindset and contribute to the overall success of the team. Qualifications

Proven track record in sales or business development / AE role with at least 3 years of experience. Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably SaaS or fintech. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university. Location: Austin, TX or willingness to relocate. In-person presence in Austin is preferred, with remote options for certain high-quality candidates. Experience in SaaS or fintech. Experience in vacation rental, hotel, or property management industries. Experience in a startup environment. Former competitive athlete. Residence in Austin, TX.
