What are you going to do?
As an Agronomist, you will be responsible for optimizing crop growth conditions and developing best practices that enhance yield and quality. The role includes analyzing field data, designing and executing trials, and converting insights into actionable recommendations for a global network of growers. Focus is placed on advancing sustainable, efficient agricultural practices that support both productivity and long-term environmental goals.
Tasks and responsibilities: Define and track ideal growth conditions, planting schedules, and farming practices to improve yield and crop quality Conduct crop scouting, field sampling, and greenhouse trials to monitor plant health and growth patterns Analyze data from field trials to develop evidence-based recommendations for farmers Partner with growers during farm visits and annual meetings to provide education on best practices Collaborate with Agriculture Procurement Specialists and the Global Agronomy Team to commercialize new varietals Focus on optimizing color yield per acre through innovative agricultural techniques Lead field demonstrations to showcase successful growing methods to stakeholders

You're a collaborative agricultural professional who builds strong relationships with growers and cross-functional teams. Your analytical mindset allows you to transform complex data into practical solutions, while your communication skills enable you to effectively share insights with diverse stakeholders.
Job requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy, Plant Science, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in vegetable crop management Demonstrated knowledge of soil science and plant growth optimization Field experience in planting, fertilizing, and crop harvesting techniques Data analysis skills to interpret field trial results Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Spanish proficiency advantageous) Valid driver's license for regular field visits
