Overview
Novato Unified School District (NUSD) is hiring for a School Bus Driver - Extended Year for the 2025-2026 school year. NUSD serves approximately 7,400 students with about 800 staff across eight elementary schools (including one dual-language immersion and one TK-8), two middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, and an Alternative Education Center (continuation school and independent study program for grades K-12). The district provides special education services, Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), and support for English learner students. Operate a school bus in a safe and timely manner to transport students to and from assigned schools and activities. Maintain safety and security protocols and report any safety concerns. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Assist students as needed while boarding and exiting the bus, including those with special needs. Coordinate with school staff to ensure on-time arrivals and departures. Requirements for Applying
Valid California Class B driver\'s license. Valid California School Bus Certificate. Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency. Driving printout from the DMV. Resume Three current letters of recommendation At least three professional references, that we may contact, who have first-hand knowledge of you and your work.
