The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects online French Immersion tutors with thousands of students nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 online French Immersion tutoring to individual students. Accept on-demand tutoring requests and match with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise. Use the Live Learning Platform to deliver tutoring remotely and manage sessions efficiently. Compensation & Benefits
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour with continued sessions with the same student. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions invoiced. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and we process payments. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in French Immersion with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Ways To Connect With Students
