Provide health care services to patients within the parameters of a standard care agreement or supervisory arrangement with an attending physician member of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Collaborate with physician(s) and other clinicians to deliver a full scope of patient care. Focus on preventive health or management of acute and/or stable chronic conditions. Perform medical services authorized and directed by the credentialing body and certifying organization through which licensure is held. Position Summary
The APP provides health care services to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician member of the medical staff. Services include care during acute and chronic illness, patient and family education and counseling, health promotion and prevention, and referral to other providers and community resources when appropriate. Minimum Qualifications
Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in the State of Ohio. Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program qualifying the graduate to sit for the national certifying examination recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing. Master’s Degree in Nursing. OR Master’s prepared; graduate of a PA-C program qualifying the graduate to sit for the NCCPA certification examination, with eligibility for State of Ohio licensure as a PA-C. Must have three years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider. Career Roadmap

This is a 26-person team that manages three spaces—Oncology Emergency Department, Immediate Care Center and the James Observation Unit—totaling 42 beds, focused on patients with acute needs during their cancer journey.
