To provide a variety of automobile loan funding and processing duties. Operating in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for minimizing potential risk for the Credit Union through accurate and thorough verifications, providing high levels of service and contact with the dealers. Meeting daily funding objective's and loan goals. Ensuring all loan documents required by the underwriter have been received. Validating that all service contracts and other documents have been signed properly, and all required documents have been received. The incumbent must effectively communicate with the dealers on a daily bases and build dealer relationships. Responsible for providing accurate and timely responses to Dealers regarding missing documents and building dealer relationships. Essential Duties

Analyze loan applications, credit bureau reports, collateral evaluation, member account data, financial statements, tax returns, pay stubs, and other documentation. Update the loan system with verified information received and ensure that all pending and/or outstanding issues have been finalized. Maintain productivity and quality of service standards and expectations. Determine debt-to-income ratio, collateral valuation, and general loan quality. Ensure that all loan decisions are based on an accurate and thorough understanding of each member’s financial needs and conditions, and that they are made in accordance with guidance contained in the policies and procedures manual. Discuss loan programs and alternatives with the dealers and notify dealers of loan decisions. Serve as financial advisor and constructive financial critic to the credit union’s dealers. Properly administer the creditworthiness and documentation of all loans that are originated. Coordinate the elimination of any obstacles to closing. Follow up with dealers daily for any outstanding documents. Occasional visits with primary dealers to build relationships. Maintain an accurate record of all loan documentation and ensure that complete loan packages have been received prior to funding. Scan all loan packages in the document retrieval system. File all loan packages in the file run while keeping up with high volume. Must meet the required goals and standards. Ensures that turn times are within required standards and requirements for our indirect partners. Must have great organizational skills and effective communication skills. Remains cognizant of and adheres to Andrews Federal policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as directed. Responsible for creating and maintaining servicing desk reference. Attends work regularly and according to work schedule; limits absences according to personnel policies regarding leave usage Interacts with co-workers, supervisors, members, and outside contacts in an appropriate, professional manner, which projects a positive image of the department and Andrews Federal Other duties as assigned Required KSA's

One year of office experience and six months of lending experience. Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to lending (Reg B, Reg Z, and Fair Credit Reporting Act). Prior understanding and loan approval experience is preferred. Strong mathematical and PC skills to include work processing and spreadsheets. Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to operate a variety of office equipment. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements
