A global leader in the manufacturing industry is urgently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Staff Accountant
to join their finance team on an interim basis. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in month‑end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations, who also have a passion for process improvement and automation. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of general ledger accounting experience, strong technical skills in Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs), and hands‑on experience with automated ERP systems—Infor preferred. You’ll work alongside seasoned professionals who offer mentorship and support, creating a strong foundation for career development and growth. This position offers hybrid flexibility; candidates must be commutable to Kennett Square, PA 3–4 days per week.
Job Description
Support day‑to‑day accounting operations, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.
Manage accounting for cash, prepaids, and accruals with accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in establishing and refining accounting processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
Work within Infor ERP and Concur expense management systems to ensure accurate financial data handling.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to build and manage pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced functions from scratch.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure proper documentation and reporting.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across accounting operations.
Qualifications & Benefits
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on accounting experience, including month‑end close and reconciliations.
Experience with Intercompany Eliminations and Multi‑Entity Ledger would be a huge plus.
Experience working with automated ERP systems such as Infor, NetSuite, Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Hybrid work schedule (flexible, 3–4 days in the Kennett Square, PA office).
