The Site Controller will ensure adherence to financial policies and ICRF controls, improving internal business processes, such as loss deployment, to support Saint-Gobain Life Sciences' growth & profitability model. Will play a key leadership role providing financial analyses and recommendations to the Plant Manager and ensure the sites/teams\' efforts are aligned to strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead the annual forecast, budget, plan process at the site and provide accurate explanations of significant variances, including analysis of actual vs. budget and/or forecast. Focus on timely month-end results/reporting with strategic planning to ensure the business grows profitability.

Manage the month-end close processes to align with deadlines, prepare/approve general entries and reconciliations as needed, and ensure accuracy/integrity of the balance sheet. Lead the annual standard cost development process for the site and ensure compliance with ICRF, IFRS, HPS/LS policies and sound business practices.

Perform month-end close activities in QAD, DSS inputs, reconciliations, and uploads to Blackline; coordinate and prepare internal financial reporting (Monthly GM report – operational analysis of scrap, labor & overhead costs/variances, Monthly Presentations – Trends/Risks & Opportunities, weekly flash, mid-month pulse checks).

Support LS & Operations Controller with ad hoc requests, annual plan, budget & standard cost development; interact with supervisors, plant leadership, and senior management to maintain a clear view of the plant\'s financial performance.

Support CI/WCM initiatives (Kaizen events) with countermeasures and projects defined with clear financial objectives; track results and lead loss deployment and co-manage the capital process with project managers, preparing forward-looking financial reviews/models (cost/benefit, margin impact).

Lead the annual completion of the ICRF gap analysis and ensure action plans are executed with proper segregation of duties and access controls; evaluate site internal controls.

Coordinate physical inventory and cycle count programs to achieve site and SBU goals.

Qualifications REQUIRED:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Finance or Related Field; Required.

Master's Degree - Business, Accounting, Finance or Related Field; Preferred.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing/Plant environment within cost accounting/controllership; Required.

3+ years of experience in a Corporate/Finance environment; Required.

3+ years in/with operational leadership/management functions; Required.

Experience with ERP Systems (e.g., SAP, QAD, Oracle); Required.
