Manager of Front Store Strategic Finance

Position Summary As the manager of Front Store Strategic Finance, you will join a team that spearheads deeper financial analysis of the Front Store business by providing independent and trusted evaluations. This role reports to and assists the Lead Director of Strategic Finance with supporting ownership and driving analysis of shadow P&Ls, while working to improve partnerships with cross-functional teams and influence senior leader decision makers on strategic and operational decisions through well-researched, organized and clear financial analysis. You will build and maintain easily digestible tools and reports that answer complex business questions, promptly respond to ad hoc inquiries, and provide actionable recommendations to leaders through data-driven insights. The role requires technical skill, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple projects. The position also emphasizes continuous improvement, simplifying data visibility, and championing modern BI tools. The candidate should understand how each workstream impacts the company’s strategy and overall Enterprise goals. The Manager Will Work To Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership, clearly communicating key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities Own and manage complex Front Store initiatives, track financial performance and trends, proactively create forecasts, and identify risks and opportunities Portfolio optimization: Partner with business leaders to ensure financial discipline, integrating initiatives with broader Front Store business, and provide insights to optimize financial outcomes Lead special projects: create ROI analyses for new business growth and development, market expansion, and investment evaluations, ensuring financial implications are fully considered Analyze ad-hoc business cases Track ongoing project deliverables across multiple time horizons Required Qualifications 5+ years finance, consulting, banking, or strategy background 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering roles, with a demonstrated ability to drive strategy and results as an individual contributor 3+ years of strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning 3+ years of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint experience 3+ years of Retail or CPG industry experience with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting/analytics Preferred Qualifications Retail or consumer goods (CPG) industry experience with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting/analytics Ability to balance, coordinate, and execute against multiple competing priorities Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive decision-making Ability to work independently, pro-actively and be naturally inquisitive Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build strong, credible, and trusted cross-functional relationships Experience providing P&L oversight and analysis is a plus Education Bachelor's Degree is Required or Equal Experience Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $66,330.00 - $159,120.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
