To support the Controllers in the accurate and timely reporting of daily, monthly and annual financial and nonfinancial data for the Cressona PA location. Provide financial data and assistance to both manufacturing and management teams. This position reports directly to the Controller. Required Education/Experience
Minimum of three years' experience in similar roles, preferably including experience in a Plant Operation environment. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or related field required. Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion). Experience with manufacturing KPIs. Knowledge of capital expenditure tracking. Experience preparing financial reports, cost analysis and performance metrics. Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred. Understanding of standard costing principles and variance analysis. Ability to perform inventory valuation, reconcile inventory accounts, and analyze inventory movements. Understanding of internal controls, compliance standards and support for audit processes. Strong computer skills (e.g., Advanced Excel, Power BI). Strong ethics and leadership, communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to think outside the box and adapt quickly. Fluency in English; effective oral and written communication with managers, supervisors, peers and subordinates. Job Responsibilities
Support month-end closing activities including the closing process, analysis and monthly reporting requirements. Develop and support financial models for forecasts, planning and analysis of monthly results, inventory, variances and costs. Work with a continuous improvement mindset to assist operations in identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives. Provide management with customer market / cost analysis using PVelocity. Provide financial and manufacturing data analysis to manufacturing and administrative managers on a recurring and ad-hoc basis. Help coordinate the development of the annual business plan and early warnings. Ensure compliance with Hydro financial policies, procedures and internal controls. Report issues to Controller if an issue arises. Monitor spending using various analysis tools throughout the month. Provide financial analysis for capital spending projects and assist in the preparation of Requests for Authorizations to obtain approvals. Assist with analysis and activities related to inventory goals and improvement of inventory transaction accuracy. Provide advice to plant personnel on proper accounting treatment of financial transactions as requested. Equal Opportunity & Accessibility
