Fixed Assets Accountant
— Pay Range: $38–$45/hour • Schedule: Hybrid (Work from home Mondays & Fridays) • Assignment: 1–3 month temp with potential to convert based on performance Requirements: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, especially for conversion potential Fixed asset experience required Familiarity with Sage or other fixed asset software Strong organizational skills and initiative to explore spending, tax benefits, GAAP, and financial reporting Ability to collaborate with R&D and analyze financial data Key Responsibilities: Analyze monthly P&Ls for R&D and other cost centers; identify variances and ensure timely reporting Support internal and HQ reporting, budgeting, and planning cycles Prepare journal entries, accruals, and financial reports using Elite 3E Ensure accurate general ledger entries and maintain financial documentation Assist with audits (external, tax-related, etc.) and prepare account reconciliations Maintain records for fixed and intangible assets Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
