This Position Offers Excellent Professional Growth And Work-life Balance Our client, a well-established Connecticut CPA firm with over five decades of trusted service, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior or Manager to join their collaborative team. The firm is known for a personalized client approach and a supportive professional environment. Join a stable, respected firm with deep roots in the Connecticut business community Be part of a close-knit team of 20-30 professionals Standard 40-hour workweeks outside of the busy season Structured busy season (January–April) with transparent expectations Clear path for advancement based on performance and leadership Responsibilities
Plan and execute audit engagements for diverse clients Review work performed by staff accountants Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures Identify accounting and audit issues and recommend solutions Communicate with clients regarding audit progress and findings Train, supervise, and mentor junior team members Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm methodologies Build and maintain client relationships Qualifications
4-7 years of public accounting experience with emphasis on audit services Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's a plus) CPA license or actively pursuing certification Experience managing audit engagements and supervising staff Industry experience in manufacturing, nonprofit, construction, or healthcare preferred Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Engagement and QuickBooks Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and audit standards Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills Location & Work Environment
