Frontier Farm Credit
AgCountry Farm Credit Services (AgCountry), Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) and Frontier Farm Credit are financial cooperatives that operate under shared management across eight states. While each association is owned by its local farmers and ranchers, they collaborate by pooling resources, expertise, and talent to provide affordable credit, crop insurance, and financial services. Our associations are united by a common mission and commitment to serving rural America and supporting each other, which drives the success of the farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness we serve. We take pride in being a great place to work, and this enthusiasm is reflected in the relationships our team members foster with one another and with our customers.
We are seeking a Relationship Officer who will focus on high‑risk/classified volume accounts and help customers return to a viable financial position within a designated portfolio across multiple offices. The role involves working directly with local teams through restructuring, borrower counseling, creative credit package development, and resolution of distressed accounts when needed. The officer will minimize reputation risk by providing positive exit solutions for customers who are not willing or able to make adjustments, and provide counseling to Credit Analysts and Retail Financial Officers on loan structure, terms, pricing, and documentation for loans with significant credit weakness. Teamwork is essential to achieving goals.
Serve as primary contact and specialized resource focused on high‑risk/classified volume not assigned to the Credit and Resolutions Team (CART), exhibiting a strong level of patience and creativity to arrive at viable solutions. This includes establishing and maintaining sound credit and loan administration, loan pricing, and appropriate loan terms and conditions to manage loan risks for a variety of large and complex accounts.
Manage assigned portfolio across multiple offices in accordance with company and funding banks’ policies and procedures to maximize net return/best business decision. Work towards designated account retention and returning accounts to viable status.
Prevent loans from entering special classification and reduce non‑earning assets through restructuring, borrower counseling, collection, and resolution of distressed accounts.
Monitor compliance with lending standards and settlement procedures on assigned loans, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory expectations. Collaborate with internal teams to support satisfactory credit administration and credit quality goals.
