Finance Cost Management Analyst Toyota North America

Overview We are looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Finance Cost Management Analyst to support forecasting, financial analysis, and cost functions for Battery Manufacturing before and after construction. Reporting to the Accounting and Finance Manager, the role supports Manufacturing Shop Departments, A&F, Production Control, Indirect Procurement, Toyota Motor Corp., and North American Manufacturing Plants.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead cost management efforts by coordinating budgets, analyzing cost reports, and responding to cost inquiries with actionable insights.

Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including accruals and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Analyze variances between actual costs, budgets, and forecasts to identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency.

Review and route operating ringis to support smooth plant operations and financial integrity.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Production Control, Indirect Procurement, and North American Manufacturing Plants to align financial goals.

Innovate and help develop standardized processes and reporting tools tailored for new Battery Manufacturing initiatives.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Previous relevant work, co‑op, or internship experience.

Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience, including cost and usage variance analysis and standard cost development.

Experience supporting Monthly Close Processes.

Proficiency in Excel.

Added Bonus If You Have

Experience with budgeting and forecasting manufacturing operating expenses.

Automotive manufacturing industry experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI.

Experience with SAP Financials and BPC Planning for SAP.

Experience with PowerPoint and presentation skills.
