McKinley Paper and Packaging Company – Wisconsin Mill in Combined Locks, Wisconsin, a division of Bio Pappel. Bio Pappel is a privately held paper and packaging manufacturer headquartered in Mexico City. The Wisconsin Mill, McKinley’s largest paper mill, produces high‑quality recycled containerboard, natural kraft packaging, bag, and other types of recycled paper. Financial Analyst Opportunity The primary duties and responsibilities include:
Perform financial analysis and maintain accurate accounting records to support management decision‑making.
Assist with month‑end closing by performing journal entries, accruals, reversals, and reclasses.
Prepare and update spending reports and other financial analyses to support strategic decisions.
Assist in developing the annual budget, including capital project planning, spending allocations, and forecasting.
Manage capital projects, fixed assets, store inventories, and perform related adjustments and reconciliations.
Support preparation of sales and use tax filings and other compliance‑related tasks.
Develop and implement innovative methods for calculating, tracking, and controlling costs.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and help maintain strong internal controls.
Handle various ad hoc sales and financial analysis requests as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
1–2 years of related experience preferred.
Proficient in Excel; advanced preferred.
SAP or other ERP system experience preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and prioritize work.
Must be a team player who can also work independently.
Physical requirements include prolonged periods of sitting or standing and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
