Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Analyze general ledger accounts and identify variances or discrepancies. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports. Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet accounts. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed. Assist in developing and improving accounting processes and controls. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording and reporting of transactions. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as assigned. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Experience: 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting experience preferred. Certification: CPA or CPA eligibility preferred. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
