Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant with 2 to 5+ years of professional tax experience. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. CPA or EA credentials are preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career, working closely with individuals as well as small- and medium-sized businesses.

Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare business income tax returns, including S Corporations, C Corporations, and Partnerships.
Prepare individual income tax returns.
Prepare state personal property tax returns.
Advise clients on the impact of new or revised tax laws.
Identify opportunities for clients to reduce tax liabilities and increase profitability.
Create financial statements for clients.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business required.
2–5+ years of accounting or tax-related experience.
CPA or EA preferred.
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Lacerte tax software is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail; organized and efficient.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
Initiative, dependability, punctuality, and discretion with sensitive materials.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($80k–$100k).
