Pacific NW Join a dynamic community hospital in Oregon as a
Grant Accountant , where you will play a key role in managing the financial oversight of federal and other grant funding. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will ensure compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance), prepare reimbursement requests and financial status reports, and track allowable expenditures against grant budgets. You will collaborate with programming and administrative teams to meet reporting deadlines, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support monthly close and year-end reconciliations tied to grant activity. Responsibilities
Manage financial oversight of federal and other grant funding in accordance with 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance). Prepare reimbursement requests and financial status reports; track allowable expenditures against grant budgets. Collaborate with programmatic and administrative teams to meet reporting deadlines and maintain audit-ready documentation. Support monthly close and year-end reconciliations tied to grant activity. Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, preferred. 3+ years of accounting, grant administration, budget management or related experience, preferably within healthcare or nonprofit sectors. Working knowledge of general accounting theory, financial and federal grant reporting. Experience managing federal grants, including knowledge of compliance requirements and reporting deadlines. Familiarity with grant management systems and accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar). Comfortable working independently and navigating multiple grant timelines. Effective communication skills: written and verbal. Key Characteristics
