Revenue Accountant I
to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a thriving company. As a Revenue Accountant I, you will be at the forefront of analyzing non-operated revenue and ownership for proper disbursement to interest owners. This role offers a unique chance to delve into various aspects related to oil & gas revenue and accounting transactions. With a half-day Friday work schedule and 20 work-from-home days annually, this position provides a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Analyze non-operated revenue for accuracy
Resolve discrepancies with Purchasers and Operators
Create uploads into Accounting Software (SAP)
Provide documentation for revenue voucher review
Ensure all revenue voucher back-up is properly saved
Communicate with other departments to resolve issues
Prepare monthly account reconciliations
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Five years of experience in oil & gas accounting
Experience with PRA module of SAP
Proficient in MS Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
Experience with analysis and accruals
Familiar with revenue and general accounting principles
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Three years of relevant revenue accounting experience
Experience in process improvements
Flexibility in work assignments and priorities
