Overview

Senior Affera Mapping Specialist - New Albany, IN at Medtronic. This remote role requires residence within the territory and local travel to multiple accounts. A valid driver’s license is essential. Responsibilities

Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures. Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures. Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products. Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business. Collaborate with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities. Plan and conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products with local sales teams. Coordinate with sales and clinical teams regionally to support mapping initiatives. Represent Medtronic CAS to physicians and support staff regarding products, service and support. Serve as a regional champion to share experience and promote proficiency in mapping technology. Required Qualifications

High school diploma plus a minimum of 8 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation, or Associate degree plus a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation, or Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. Preferred Qualifications

B.A./B.S. degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with a minimum of four years of related work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales. Proven track record with technical training assignments. Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support. Ability to travel more than 25% of the time. Additional Job Requirements

Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation. Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available for unscheduled needs. Occasional travel outside of the assigned territory with possible overnight stays. Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to move freely throughout facilities, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, and interact with computers. Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day. Travel ~25-50% within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel. Benefits & Compensation

Medtronic offers competitive salary and flexible benefits. Salary range for U.S. locations (excl. PR): $130,000.00 – $150,000.00. Base salary may vary based on experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
